World Integrations has designed a system that can adapt to all regions and will securely supply the needs of the populace while also complimenting and preserving the environment and its resources. Degradation of the ecosystem with increasing economic growth can be seen all over the world. Much of the world's population depends on livelihoods derived from natural resources: land, forest, water, and the air we breathe. The continued degradation and misuse of these resources threaten the health, economics, and social security of individuals, communities, and countries, as well as the intricate web of ecological, social, economic, and cultural relations that binds the global community. The challenge is to transform natural resources into assets that sustain economic viability and provide a healthy environment for our future generations, while continuously focusing on the "big picture." Empowering Hawaii: Success in sustainable development depends on the local stakeholders being truly empowered to manage their resources and participate in important decisions about their lives. By supplying each community and state with its right and power to grow and produce the essential needs of its people from the land that they live on, the nation as a whole will become very strong and secure from within. When a nation has no need to take from its neighbors because it is abundant within itself, and its people have a secure supply to the necessities of life, then that nation becomes the guiding principle to all the nations of the world. The land and people of Maui have the unique opportunity to serve as a model for other states and nations to adopt a similar system of sustainability.
